Aloha, and welcome to Aulani Scoop.  This is the online source, or the Scoop, for all things Aulani, A Disney Resort and Spa in Hawaii.  Aulani Scoop is affiliated with Wish Upon A Star Travel, an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner and not the Walt Disney Company.  This website is a service for those planning a trip, those who want to keep up with the Resort, or just dream or prepare your information on your bucket list for when you have a chance to visit.

Aulani at a Glance

Aulani is located on 21.2 beautiful acres of beachfront on the west side of O'ahu in Ko Olina, only 17 miles from Honolulu International Airport.  Their unparalleled amenities include:

• 395 hotel rooms, including 16 suite; and 481 villa, including 21 suites

Makahiki - The Bounty of the Islands  
Named after the annual Hawaiian festival that celebrates the harvest, Makahiki is a feast for your senses. Dine among colorful murals created by local artists while enjoying glorious views of lush tropical foliage.

Breakfast Buffet
"Aunty's Breakfast Celebration" - Join some of your favorite Disney Characters for "Aunty's Breakfast Celebration at the Makahiki"! Hosted by Aunty every Tuesday thru Sunday, this family-friendly buffet is the perfect way to start your day and includes such breakfast favorites as island fruits, house-baked pastries, a carving station, Island-inspired offerings and daily specialties.
Regular breakfast buffet or ala carte menu available every Monday.

Lunch
Create your own pizza, salad or sandwich—or choose from signature dishes, like the Hawaiian pizza, crispy Asian salad or chef's special bento.

Dinner
The casual dinner buffet includes fresh local products and chef-inspired dishes.
Options may include:

'AMA 'AMA  

Named after the 'ama'ama fish - a tasty local mullet fish frequent to Hawaiian waters, Aulani's signature restaurant features an open-aired seating section with amazing views and celebrates not only the delectable fish but also the many fishing settlements along the leeward coast dating back to the 12th century.

• Breakfast - Morning specialties including omelets, island favorites, grains and freshly made bakery items.

The 'Ōlelo Room 

Relax with a Hawaiian-inspired cocktail, taste the latest appetizers from Aulani's gourmet chefs or start your day with a continental breakfast at the 'Ōlelo Room - a bar and lounge inspired by and immersed in the Hawaiian language - 'Ōlelo.

Off the Hook 
An open-air, beachside lounge that resembles a fisherman's seaside shack and serves a variety of favorite drinks and Hawaiian-inspired appetizers. Decorated with cowry-shell lures, shark-tooth knives, fishhooks and fish-shaped ku'ulo stones once used as decoys, this relaxed beachside lounge resembles a Hawaiian fisherman's seaside shack. Look for one of the extra special touches-a colorful school of fish swims above the bar!

Quick Service

• One Paddle, Two Paddle - Dine on freshly made sandwiches, tasty wraps and house-made desserts. A keiki (children's) menu is available as well as a refillable mug station.
• Lava Shack - Get a quick snack or try a Hawaiian plate lunch. Choose from entrees like cold fried chicken, cured meats, cheeses and chilled miso-glazed salmon. Lava Shack features a refillable mug station.
• Papalua Shave Ice - Cool off poolside with fruity and refreshing shave ice. Choose from a variety of tropical flavors.
• Rip Swirl - Chill out with a healthy treat: tangy yogurt with fresh fruit.
• Mama's Snack Stop - Located next to Papalua Shave Ice in the Waikolohe Valley, Mama's Snack Stop serves poolside snacks featuring mouthwatering hot dogs, chicken strips, and more. The menu includes a choice of bread, sauce, and the type of sausage, including All-beef Hot dog, Hawaiian Winner, Portuguese sausage, or a Buffalo-Ranch Fried Chicken Strip dog.

Private dining never tasted so good. Our outstanding in-room service offers a wide variety of options, day and night.

Guest Services

Guest services at Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina include ATM, babysitting, concierge, wireless Internet, laundry, groceries and more. A number of services are available at the Resort to make your stay as easy and stress-free as possible.

ATM
For some quick cash, an Automated Teller Machine is located in the lobby for your convenience.

Bell Services
Does your luggage need a lift? Take advantage of our handy bell service any time of the day or night!

Car Rental
Renting a car is one of the best ways to get around the island. Visit the Alamo Rental Car desk next to the 3rd floor lobby for assistance. Hours are limited.

Concierge Desk
Whether you need help making reservations for dining, recreation, excursions or the spa, visit the Concierge Desk located next to the Front Desk in the lobby. Our staff can also assist you with transportation arrangements and provide many other services.

Early Check-In/late Check-Out Lounge
For Guests with late flight arrangements, this lounge provides restrooms, showers and dressings rooms, as well as a TV viewing area. It's located on the first floor of the South Wing next to the Pau Hana Room.

Holoholo Tours & Travel Desk
Book your excursions with the help of our staff at the Holoholo Tours & Travel Desk, located in the lobby on the 3rd floor.

Groceries
Located in the lobby, Kalepa's Store offers a limited selection of grocery items.

Ice Machines
Ice machines are located on every floor by the rooms ending with the numbers "30" and "71."

Internet
Wireless high-speed Internet access is available in all rooms and throughout the Resort.

Laundry
Laundry facilities are available for a fee on the first floor near Rooms 130 and 171. Or if you'd prefer valet laundry services, just fill out the laundry list in your hotel room and attach it to the items you wish to be laundered. Charges will be billed to your room at the end of your stay.

Parking
Both self- and valet parking are available to Guests for a fee.

Telephones
House telephones are located throughout the Resort, while pay phones located specifically in the lobby.

Trash and Recycling
Rooms for depositing trash and recyclable items are located on every floor of the Resort beside rooms ending in the numbers "30" and "71."

Vending Machines
Snacks and drinks are available from vending machines on every floor of the Resort beside rooms ending in the numbers "30" and "71."

Pools and Beaches

Slip, slide, splash and play in one of our exciting water adventures! Or bask in the sun on the sparkling white beach. Swim in one of the pools, sit in a whirlpool, snorkel or enjoy the whimsical interactive water play area at Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawaii.  



Waikolohe Pool 
Shoot down the sleek body slide of this 8200-square-foot pool for a thrilling plunge into the crystalline waters. Not ready to dive in? There's something for everyone at this place for family fun. Poolside cabanas are available for rental. Reservations are suggested.

Whirlpool Spas 
Melt into one of our 4 whirlpool spas and enjoy pure relaxation amidst the pulsating jet streams as you sip a drink or just rest in the sun and enjoy the spectacular view.

Wailana Pool
Swim out across the quiet surface of our themed infinity edge pool and soak up the scenery.

Waikolohe Stream
Climb into a tube and ride along the banks of a swift stream as you are launched into adventure! On this whimsical waterway, slide past fantastic formations of lava rock and encounter plenty of surprises in the mischievous waters.

Menehune Bridge & Trail
Little ones romp, stomp, splish and splash in this magical interactive water play area featuring the mischievous menehune. Follow the Menehune Trail as it twists and turns throughout the Resort!

Rainbow Reef

Swim with many of the animals that live in the salt waters as you snorkel in this enormous, gorgeous manmade lagoon. Didn't bring your fins? Snorkel equipment is available for rental. All proceeds support wildlife conservation organizations.



Beach
Relax or stroll along the enticing white sands of Ko' Olina behind the Resort. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available to extend your fun in the sun.

Laniwai ~ A Disney Spa

Step into serenity at Laniwai - A Disney Spa. Featuring Kula Wai (the only outdoor hydrotherapy garden on O'ahu), Painted Sky (the only teen spa in Hawai'i) and a myriad of customizable spa experiences, Laniwai is a magical retreat that will renew you—body, mind and soul.

Spa Therapies
Achieve ultimate relaxation through one of almost 150 Spa Therapies. From massages and skin care treatments, to unique "rain water" therapies and personalized programs, Laniwai will help free you from worldly stresses to fully embrace the spirit of the islands.

Kula Wai
Relax and rejuvenate in the only outdoor hydrotherapy garden on O'ahu. Featuring private vitality pools, co-ed mineral baths of purifying volcanic mud and seaweed, a reflexology path, six different "rain" showers, whirlpool jet spas and more, the 5,000-square-foot garden retreat is available to Aulani Resort Guests ages 18 and up (and 14 and up, with an accompanying adult) for a fee, or is complimentary with any full-service spa treatment.

Pulu Bar
At the outdoor mixology stations, our spa attendant will blend a custom body polish for you. Choose your desired aromas, active herbs and essential oils, and then use your body polish in the living waters of Kula Wai, or later in your Resort room. Personalized body polishes are complimentary for Guests with any full-service spa treatment.

Painted Sky
The only teen spa in Hawai'i, this 1,500-square-foot retreat for Guests ages 13 to 17 has its own private entrance and features a lounge, yogurt bar, computer stations, customizable perfume bar, DIY mixology bar, evening events and rejuvenating treatments designed specifically for teenagers.

Aunty's Beach House

In Hawai'i, kids refer to all elder women as "Aunty," and at Aulani, Aunty's house has all the fun! Kids can let their imagination soar as they play, learn and explore this 5200-square-foot entertainment paradise. In this special kids club, you'll find all kinds of supervised, kid-pleasing activities:

Family Open House (daily), 8:00 am -10:00 am - Aulani guests of all ages can come in and explore Aunty's Beach House together as a family, only during this time. No secured check-ins will be done for the duration of Family Open House.

Secured Programming (daily), 10:00 am - 9:00 pm - Aulani guests ages 3-12 are welcome to check in and explore Aunty's Beach House and all its programs. All normal check-in procedures and policies will apply.
