Dining at Aulani




At Aulani, you'll find superb dining options for the entire family using the finest local ingredients. Whether you want an elegant beachfront dinner, casual buffet meals, poolside snacks or dining in the privacy of your own room, we have fabulous locations for you!

Makahiki - The Bounty of the Islands  
Named after the annual Hawaiian festival that celebrates the harvest, Makahiki is a feast for your senses. Dine among colorful murals created by local artists while enjoying glorious views of lush tropical foliage.

Breakfast Buffet
"Aunty's Breakfast Celebration" - Join some of your favorite Disney Characters for "Aunty's Breakfast Celebration at the Makahiki"! Hosted by Aunty every Tuesday thru Sunday, this family-friendly buffet is the perfect way to start your day and includes such breakfast favorites as island fruits, house-baked pastries, a carving station, Island-inspired offerings and daily specialties.
Regular breakfast buffet or ala carte menu available every Monday.

Lunch
Create your own pizza, salad or sandwich—or choose from signature dishes, like the Hawaiian pizza, crispy Asian salad or chef's special bento.

Dinner
The casual dinner buffet includes fresh local products and chef-inspired dishes.
Options may include:

'AMA 'AMA  
Named after the 'ama'ama fish - a tasty local mullet fish frequent to Hawaiian waters, Aulani's signature restaurant features an open-aired seating section with amazing views and celebrates not only the delectable fish but also the many fishing settlements along the leeward coast dating back to the 12th century.

The 'Ōlelo Room 
Relax with a Hawaiian-inspired cocktail, taste the latest appetizers from Aulani's gourmet chefs or start your day with a continental breakfast at the 'Ōlelo Room - a bar and lounge inspired by and immersed in the Hawaiian language - 'Ōlelo.

Off the Hook 
An open-air, beachside lounge that resembles a fisherman's seaside shack and serves a variety of favorite drinks and Hawaiian-inspired appetizers. Decorated with cowry-shell lures, shark-tooth knives, fishhooks and fish-shaped ku'ulo stones once used as decoys, this relaxed beachside lounge resembles a Hawaiian fisherman's seaside shack. Look for one of the extra special touches-a colorful school of fish swims above the bar!

Quick Service
  • One Paddle, Two Paddle - Dine on freshly made sandwiches, tasty wraps and house-made desserts. A keiki (children's) menu is available as well as a refillable mug station.
  • Lava Shack - Get a quick snack or try a Hawaiian plate lunch. Choose from entrees like cold fried chicken, cured meats, cheeses and chilled miso-glazed salmon. Lava Shack features a refillable mug station.
  • Papalua Shave Ice - Cool off poolside with fruity and refreshing shave ice. Choose from a variety of tropical flavors.
  • Rip Swirl - Chill out with a healthy treat: tangy yogurt with fresh fruit.
  • Mama's Snack Stop - Located next to Papalua Shave Ice in the Waikolohe Valley, Mama's Snack Stop serves poolside snacks featuring mouthwatering hot dogs, chicken strips, and more. The menu includes a choice of bread, sauce, and the type of sausage, including All-beef Hot dog, Hawaiian Winner, Portuguese sausage, or a Buffalo-Ranch Fried Chicken Strip dog.
